Wan-Bissaka set for new deal

Daily Mail: Manchester United have made a complete U-turn on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and are ready to hand the defender a new contract. There was a time last season where they were willing to sell him as Erik ten Hag wasn't entirely sold.

However, with just 12 months remaining on his current deal (albeit with an option for another 12 months), United wish to tie Wan-Bissaka down long-term. That would include an increase on his £100k-a-week wages as they attempt to lock the player down.

The club are preparing their discussions right now - so things could move quickly.

McTominay bid rejected

The Athletic: United have said no to West Ham's offer of £30m for Scott McTominay. Ten Hag doesn't wish to lose to the player this summer and the asking price is over £40m. That isn't to say that the Hammers won't come back with another bid, of course, but United have simply said no to the offer.

That's in contrast to Harry Maguire. West Ham made an identical offer for the defender and United have agreed on a deal in principle, with a fee of £30m settled on, as per Fabrizio Romano.

So while both players could leave this summer for West Ham, Maguire seems far more likely at this stage.

United want Onana

The Mirror: Everton could now enter the race for Harry Maguire, and if they were to do so, United would attempt to sign Amadou Onana. The 21-year-old is rated highly at Old Trafford and there have reportedly been tentative discussions already.

But Everton wanting Maguire could add a new dimension to talks - and potentially bring about some sort of swap deal. There may be some way to go on this one, though it could be a way for United to really get value for their unwanted defender.

Todibo on the shortlist

Fabrice Hawkins: United are in talks with OGC Nice over a move for Jean-Clair Todibo. The defender is highly sought-after right now and could be the next player to move to Old Trafford.

Though, despite the talks, this one isn't close. United wish to sell Maguire before signing another centre-back, and talks are still ongoing with West Ham at this point.

If they can seal the defender's exit, though, things could start moving quickly on Todibo.

Van de Beek out, Amrabat in

Daily Mail: United are now in talks with Real Sociedad over Donny Van de Beek. The Dutchman has never really worked out at Old Trafford and it's widely expected that he'll move on this summer.

United are particularly eager to sell him, too, as they're hoping to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. Funds are tight and the midfield is packed, meaning that selling someone first is a must. That player could be Van de Beek, it could be Fred, or it could be Scott McTominay.

Van de Beek is now most likely to leave next, it seems. If he does, the Moroccan could arrive quite quickly.
